Do me a favor: If you’re done for the year, don’t tell me.
If you’ve decided to lay back, set the cruise control, and vegetate until sometime after January 1st, then go ahead and stop reading. Nothing I’m going to say or tell you in this post is going to change that.
If, on the other hand, you’re still open to making the most out of a crazy year, and the idea of finishing strong in the weirdest year most of us can remember is important to you, then keep reading.
For starters, this post is about taking action. About pursuing success. About making sales.
About putting money in the bank. Not just now, but also, in the first quarter of 2022.
Are you open to that?
Because it doesn’t have to be as hard as most people think. There’s a couple of surefire ways to do this, to:
- Look at your top leads right now – and simply pick up the phone and ask them what it’s going to take to get them to commit to moving forward. I can virtually guarantee you’ll close 20% just from following up.
- Review your marketing and lead generation activities and make sure your offers are still relevant. Does your marketing say something about “springtime?” No wonder the phones aren’t ringing!
- Talk to your providers and suppliers to see if there are some “last minute” deals you can offer for them. The same tactics car dealers use when the next year models are coming out can actually work for you, even if the “2022” model isn’t any different than the “2021” version.
